Alicia Vulpnine

         Alicia Vulpnine-Foxx, a 1018 year old kitsune, has announced that she is looking for an heir to take over her inheritance. Being past her recommended life span and searching for a place to settle, she decided to place herself on Spindizzy and retire. With her, though, is a life's work of technology and wealth.

         A brief history reveals that Mrs. Vulpnine-Foxx has a highly regarded military record, starting out as a recruited grunt and advancing up to the rank of Star Admiral after many years of service. At about 300 she retired and started the company Vulpnine Technology Industries. For a few years she produced advanced weaponry for the military as well as super multi-AI computers and multi-enviro jumpsuits. The company is currently at idle. There is, however, a LARGE stockpile of weaponry in their inventory plus a countless amount of money.

         Alicia now resides peacefully on SpinDizzy, often in the rose garden. She continues to produce jumpsuits but does this in a more personal level. "All I want to do is get rid of my riches. I really don't feel any love with them," she said in a private interview. Alicia is willing to try out anyone as her heir.

         Morticon, leader of the SED, announced possible plans to make 'Morticon Farms'.  "Morticon Farms would be the place Spindizzy's food is grown.  Nice wholesome, good food.  Very healthy food for everyfur," Morticon commented.

         Morticon did mention he'll need plenty of assistants for maintaining the farm, if it gets created, and that all interested furs should contact him directly.  No mention as to how this related with the SED.

         Morticon, local Wallaby, found himself in the Rose Garden in the company of Gratiot, local thylacine.  Gratiot, seeming to want more thylacines around, gave Morticon a bite a few months back turning him into a male thylacine when the moon is full.  Looking remarkably like Gratiot, Morticon found that he had assumed other attributes of Gratiot's including such things as a longing for dog treats.

         Shortly after his change, Argon, local Centaur, arrived and took full advantage of Morticon's condition.  After finding a Milk Bone Dog Treat in his pocket and showing it to Morticon, Morticon found himself unable to resist Argon's command to sit up and beg for it.  After taking pictures, Argon as promised gave the Dog treat to Morticon, which, against his normal nature, he split in half and shared with Gratiot.

         Argon has stated that he will keep the photographs for further enhancement of his retirement fund.

 *  Go ahead and 'write' your story.  If you decide you don't want to write

us that you wrote one when you finish pasting it in.

 *  An alternative to this is to page #mail newspaper with your story OR

email it to newspaper@spindizzy.org

 * We will edit it and tell you where you can look at it to make sure it wasn't mangled.  You can then p #mail the editor involved saying that it is ok.  Otherwise, suggest changes that should be made. If you trust the editors feel free to put something to the effect that you pre-approve the editing in your rough draft.

 * That's it!  It'll appear in the paper!

When writing articles for the paper...

 * Try and do some proofreading before submission.  That means spell check!

However, if you're no good at that sort of stuff, just send it as-is and the

editors will try their best.

 * No articles whose sole purpose is to flame someone.  You can use the SpinDizzy BB for

that ;)

 * Please strive for accuracy.  If they have time, the editors may check up on some of the quotes and perhaps the basic facts of the article.  Otherwise, it is assumed you did your best to write an accurate article.  If this is abused and inaccurate things are complained about, stricter rules may be put in place.

* Submitting your article anytime on Friday evening through the normal publishing date (Saturday night) will usually waive your right to review the edited version because of time constraints.  You will be contacted and informed but if you cannot get on before the publishing deadline to check your article it will be published regardless UNLESS you specify otherwise.

 * The editors' decisions are final.  This is not a wiz ran paper so do not

complain to them.  We can be reached by paging 'newspaper'.

 * Just about anything is published, so be creative!  It can be IC views on

RL topics, RPs that occurred around the MUCK, or most other things you can

think of.  You have creative license when it comes to documenting RPs, so

feel free to expound on the action, etc.  If you aren't sure if a story is

acceptable, page 'newspaper' and find out! :)

 * The AUP applies, so keep language and content acceptable.
